Feminist Nerds are Needed

I define a feminist nerd as one who identifies with any or all of these definitions

1. A feminist that is a nerd about feminism
2. A nerd that identifies as a feminist
3. A feminist that identifies as a nerd

And we’re needed pretty desperately. All three of us together because with only 2 of the 3 or just 1, we don’t stand much of a chance. It’s like playing Team Fortress 2, you might be able to win with everyone being snipers, but it just pisses off the other team and they’ll equate your win with being cheap. No, you need attack, support, and defense classes all working together to stop this misogynistic nerd bomb from exploding, because we can’t seem to wrap our heads around the fact that women are humans too and need to be treated as such isn’t getting us anywhere.

So let’s think of it as a Team Fortress 2 style effort. Where it would look something like this:

1. Feminist nerds (attack)
2. Nerds about feminism (defense)
3. Nerds who are feminist (support)
