A Talking With Burritos Album Review of Alvvays

Alvvays , the self titled album from the rock quintet out of Canada, hails as a triumph of lyrical romanticism blended with soft-core instruments and garageband, like, sound from a lead singer whose voice is as charming as the ballads she croons.
Upon first listen, I deciphered no exact differences between songs one through nine of this album. They meshed together and failed to garner much interest. Archie, Will You Marry was a given great record; they released that song along with Adult Diversion weeks before the albums debut to terrific reviews setting precedence for a successful release.
After the fourth time of listening to the album, my judgmental shields lifted and beyond its wall were wonderful stories of longing, love, loyalty, and loss, the substances which make for a compelling soundtrack to an amorous coming of age love story.
