Now I’m not saying we give up on them, I’m saying that we implore them to be better. They have proven they can. What we need is something new for them, either together or separately, to remind these two that they are better than the sum of what they’ve become. They have it in them, they really do. They’re both amazing and I’d love to see them each to go on to resume the quality of their “Bowfinger” work some more.
So come on, stretch it out, remind us all how funny you are. Read better scripts, get a better agent, make better choices. Martin, Murphy, remind us why we loved you so much back in your heyday, as well as why we loved you so much fifteen years ago when you teamed up for your conjoined “The Godfather” project we all love oh so much. Don’t let your comedy, your careers, and our love for you, end “not with a bang, but with a whimper”.
Until next time friends, never forget these two wild and crazy guys, cause in the morning, I’m makin’ waffles!
